A Little more Tuk Tuk’ing And Elephant Looking.

This is the last one. I promise. I just had some video of all of our recent self-drive safari-ing, and wanted to get that in here,

This one is just silly.

A bit more tuk tuk travel, but this time not a danger bus in sight. Mostly water buffaloes. And bad roads.

We took this video in the country all around Arugam Bay, a week or so before we left. We are now in Weligama, and there are no more big savanna areas or opportunities for our self-drive safaris. This area is mostly jungle, so quite different. I have no doubt that Tam will be able to find us some great misadventure (most likely involving weird animals), so we shouldn’t be too bored. No more elephants for a few months, though, so here is the last of the elephant videos for now.

A beautiful herd of about fifteen of them, with a baby and a couple of juveniles. We were able to get so close to them (almost dangerously close a few times), but they behaved the entire time.

We also saw peacocks and monkeys, so I put together a weird video about them.

I said it was weird.

There are crocodiles out there as well.

Big buggers.

And lots of them.

Sorry. I must have been bored today.
